"Capitalism" movie parties
Last weekend, nearly 11,000 MoveOn members participated in more than 800 movie parties around the country to watch Michael Moore's Capitalism: A Love Story and discuss how we can stop the corporate takeover of democracy.
Off-shore drilling
President Obama announced plans to open vast sections of protected coastlines to oil drilling. This is a really terrible idea. We need to break our addiction to oil, not feed it.

Stop the Hate

Sen. Lincoln's new big bank bailout
Arkansas Sen. Blanche Lincoln bailed out the big banks and now she wants to do it again. She's blocking a bill to cut billions in bank subsidies and use the savings to help students pay for college.
